RESPONSIBILITIES
I am a full time designer at Disney under DMED’s Movies Anywhere product. I have been at the company since pre-launch and have become a strategic design partner who has provided brand strategy, development and execution through my support of all segments of marketing. I lead creative strategy and provide art direction for a variety of campaigns, present concepts internally and to executive-level studio partners, collaborate with UX design teams, focus on data-driven engagement email design, and assist in design for paid media/acquisition. I have been able to bring the brand value through developing the illustration style and visual language since launch.

Brand Visuals

Illustrations
Since launch, I’ve had the pleasure of being able to define Movies Anywhere’s visual communication and illustration style. This work has been viewed by millions of people viewing in-product, on social, and other marketing communications. I’ve been responsible for iconography, product illustrations, studio-approved avatars, genres, and other miscellaneous illustrations to bring our in-product editorial experience to life.
Screen Pass
Screen Pass was a first-of-its-kinds feature where Movies Anywhere provides users with the ability to digitally lend their movie collection to anyone. My roles for this project included leading the cross-functional naming brainstorm alongside our editorial lead, developing the logo and custom type treatment, and developing the visual brand look of the launch campaign.
Watch Together
Watch Together is the co-viewing feature for Movies Anywhere launched during the 2020 pandemic. I had the responsibility of concepting then bringing to life the key art, icons, type treatment, and additional illustrations.
Hero & Billboard Updates
In 2020 we were phasing out our primary font from all marketing in exchange for open sans. I saw this as an opportunity to update more than our font and rethink and refresh our in-app experience from a design side.
I optimized the relationship between the size of heroes and billboards on each platform, which had not been refined for a few years. Beyond the type size optimization I also wanted to make sure we allowed the artwork to breathe and shine more through angled custom gradients for each movie. Finally, we wanted to create consistent placement of title treatments, taglines, and CTAs for all heroes and billboards moving forward.
